Teaching

My teaching philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach that embraces a variety of methods to engage students with different learning styles. I believe in creating an inclusive, interactive classroom where active participation is encouraged, and real-world applications of the classroom material are explored through open dialogue. By integrating current events and relevant case studies into my teaching, I aim to cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with assessments that prioritize the process of reasoning and thoughtful analysis over simply taking a particular position. Beyond teaching the course content, I also view advising as an essential aspect of my role. I am deeply committed to helping students not only navigate their academic journeys but also to pursue their personal and professional aspirations. I take great pride in dedicating time to discuss academic and career goals with students, encouraging them to be curious and motivated learners, and helping to connect them with opportunities in their fields. Ultimately, my goal is to empower students to become thoughtful, independent thinkers who are equipped to tackle the complex challenges of the world.
